There is an ongoing ministry within AVUCC that responds to our members and their extended families who are in need of prayers and comfort. The objective of the Caring Committee is to give support and encouragement to those who are ill or distressed, and to ease the burden of those who are grief-stricken from the death of a loved one.

The committee also lightens the load on the minister by helping with such chores as setting up memorial services, arranging for transportation, and preparing meals when needed.

Sunday Bulletin Prayer Requests:  If you would like to ask our church to pray for someone, or even yourself, and have the person's name listed in the Sunday worship bulletin, please let Pastor Kevin or the our church administrator know.  We will list just the names in a new "Prayer Requests" section of the bulletin.

The Caring Committee is for anyone in need of assistance with food, transportation, or home and hospital visits. The Caring Ministry Co-directors are Carolyn Crowley, and Ariss Thomas.
