Over the years, AVUCC has been actively involved in many mission and outreach programs. The Outreach committee, headed by Phyllis Chai, strives to involve the congregation in Christian outreach activities in the community and in the support of the global Christian mission of the United Church of Christ.

 The third Tuesday of every month, a group meets at the church at 4:15 p.m. to prepare, deliver, and serve dinner for two shelters in San Jose, run by Inn Vision. Volunteer cooks, drivers, servers, and cookies are always needed. For more information contact Robyn Dorsey at 356-0970

Please contact Phyllis Chai at 226-7150 for requests for Beneficio Coffee, the "more than fair trade" coffee.  Also, please do not refrigerate/freeze the coffee, for the optimum flavor.
